Cocaine is an incredibly dangerous, illegal, and addictive drug, but it is one of the most commonly abused substances in the world (the second most trafficked illegal drug worldwide). In the U.S., over 2 million people over the age of 12 admitted to using cocaine within the past month. However, many of those individuals may not realize just how harmful cocaine use is; it is the most frequently mentioned illegal drug reported to the Drug Abuse Warning Network by hospital emergency departments, and in 2018 alone, over 14,000 people died of a cocaine related overdose (in many of these cases, the cocaine was “cut”, or mixed with other dangerous substances by street dealers, which can have a fatal effect). In any situation, cocaine abuse carries extreme health risks and negative long-term effects to every bodily function, especially the cardiovascular system. Cocaine, also known as “coke”, “crack”, “snow”, “white bricks”, and other nicknames, is a stimulant derived from the leaves of the coca plant. When smoked, snorted, or injected, the brain is prevented from discarding dopamine, and the user experiences a brief euphoric feeling that is followed by a crash and a need for more of the substance. Because cocaine is so addictive, it can be difficult for users to break the addiction on their own.

Why Choose Us
Cocaine addiction can be devastating - it can have destructive effects on your mental health, your relationships, your finances, and your body. 21 million Americans struggle with at least one addiction, and 5 million of those are cocaine abusers, but only 10% of people who have addictions receive treatment. There are many reasons why people avoid treatment; for many, addiction is a source of shame and it is easier to hide it rather than admit there’s a problem...for others, they have tried quitting before or tried a treatment program that didn’t work for them, so they give up. However, “treatment” varies widely, and it is important to find programs with proven results. The right treatment truly can help people beat addiction, so it is highly recommended! Better Tomorrow Treatment Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, is different from other cocaine rehab clinics.
For one thing, our staff is made up of compassionate, highly trained, educated clinicians. Many of them have personal experience with cocaine addiction and the recovery process and thus truly understand what you are going through.
For another, we realize that cocaine addiction is multi-faceted, so our cocaine addiction treatment programs are designed to treat the whole person - physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually - through an individual recovery plan tailored specifically for each person who walks through our doors. Our treatment helps you understand the root of your cocaine addiction and then equips you to create a healthier life for yourself, free of substance abuse. Cocaine addiction recovery is a lifelong process that does not end when you complete our programs; our alumni program includes an after-care plan and we are always here for you, ready to provide you with the support you need at any stage of your recovery.
Perhaps what distinguishes us the most from other rehab facilities is our comfortable, safe supportive housing. Other facilities may offer housing, but it is often not an enjoyable living experience. We know that your environment is a key factor in the success of your recovery from the disease of cocaine addiction. Housing at our West Palm Beach cocaine addiction treatment center is supervised and substance-free; you can keep your independence while living with others who can relate to your struggles and rebuild the skills you need for a healthy future.

What To Expect
Prior to being granted admission to our cocaine addiction treatment center, you must complete a pre-admission screening in order for us to determine whether or not our programs are the right fit for you. If we are not, we do our best to give you other quality recommendations that may be a better fit. If we do offer you admission, you will immediately begin the phases of treatment. Week 1 consists of completing intake, attending orientation, finishing assessments, moving into housing, and meeting other members of the community and staff. Days 1 through 45 will consist of an intense schedule of cocaine addiction treatment. You will immerse yourself in the clinical plan that has been designed for you and that may include group therapy, individual therapy, medications, and more. You will set goals for recovery and begin working towards them. Days 45 through 90 will allow you to work with our staff and develop a long-term plan for recovery as well as an immediate discharge plan. Many patients graduate at 90 days, but if you need longer to accomplish your treatment plan goals, we will work with you to design a plan where you can continue to receive supportive care. Everyone’s recovery journey is unique. Our treatment programs focus on helping you develop the techniques that are necessary to help you overcome your cocaine addiction. At our West Palm Beach cocaine addiction treatment center, we want to see people who are addicted to cocaine break free and stay that way, for life! We know that’s possible because we see it happen all the time.
Do I Need This? Can I Afford This?
Sometimes it can be hard to tell when and if a cocaine addiction is present and requires intervention to treat. Cocaine is a highly addictive substance, and in some cases even a single use can lead to addiction. If you or a loved one is unable to stop using cocaine, despite negative consequences, that may indicate treatment is needed. Other symptoms include loss of appetite, depression, irritability, mood swings, over-excitement, paranoia, nausea, tremors, runny nose, light sensitivity, and more. If you suspect it may be time to get help, don’t wait - it could be deadly. Call our West Palm Beach cocaine addiction treatment center to discuss more symptoms and discover our program options.
One thing that prevents people from seeking out cocaine addiction treatment is cost. Federal law requires insurance providers to offer coverage for addiction rehabilitation, so most major insurances are accepted by our center. If you have insurance, you are likely a great candidate for the Better Tomorrow center. It costs nothing to call and have a conversation about your options! Contact us FREE at 1-561-828-4140 to find out whether we accept your insurance.
